I am obsessed with creating. Painting is the tool that I use to express that obsession. I create art, as a means to connect to what is important to me and most valuable in my life. I paint the parts of my life that I can't explain in words.
I think of my obsession like a battery; a positive and negative charge that must come together to create a spark. My main goal as an artist is not to paint life, but try and give life to what I paint.
